Qualifications

• Experience with vulnerability management tools is desired but not essential.

• Monitor and triage alerts from security controls.
• Assist employees with security-related inquiries and incident response.
• Support compliance activities such as Cyber Essentials and ISO27001.

As an Information Security Analyst at Softcat, you will have a key role in promptly and accurately responding to security incidents and enquires.

You will also play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems and data. Collaborating with various departments, you will help the team monitor and maintain security measures, policies, and procedures, keeping Softcat protected from cyber threats and compliant with relevant regulations.

As Information Security Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

• Monitoring and triaging alerts from our security controls.
• Assisting employees across Softcat with any security related enquiries and incident response.
• Collaborating with our security monitoring and incident response service partners.
• Ensuring incidents are recorded and responded to in accordance with our processes and procedures.
• Support compliance activities such as Cyber Essentials, ISO27001 and other internal and external audits
