Role Overview

We are seeking an Information Security Analyst to utilize the latest technologies to detect, analyze, and mitigate vulnerabilities and security risks within the firm’s IT infrastructure. This role involves analyzing and managing security systems to enhance the Firm’s security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity team members to identify, understand, document, and advise on security requirements, impacts, and risks.
  • Utilize knowledge of SIEM solutions like Rapid 7 Insight IDR.
  • Familiar with CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Rapid 7 IDR, Mimecast, 1Password, KnowBe4, Cisco Umbrella, FortiNet devices, etc.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for security systems, procedures, and diagrams.
  • Monitor and analyze security systems, including network traffic, to detect and respond to breaches or suspicious activities.
  • Analyze, propose, and implement solutions for residual risks, vulnerabilities, and exposures.
  • Install security measures and operate software such as firewalls and data encryption tools to protect systems and information infrastructure.
  • Investigate security incidents, determine causes, and implement preventative measures.
  • Assist in conducting desktop exercises and drills for employees to ensure system security and proper configuration.
  • Support security awareness initiatives through emails, newsletters, training, and anti-phishing campaigns.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
  • Monitor threat intelligence to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in large-scale or long-term projects for designing, developing, implementing, and testing security systems.
  • Stay informed about security threats and trends to proactively protect the organization.
  • Research and evaluate security enhancements, making recommendations to management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
  • Minimum of 3 years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Strong knowledge of application and infrastructure security solutions (firewalls, IDS/IPS, network security, password management, data encryption, access control), and project management.
  • Experience with incident detection, response, and forensics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the ITIL framework and processes is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, capable of interacting at all organizational levels.
