The role will also involve supporting the processes and controls which make up the Club’s information security framework, adopting an approach of continuous improvement so that the organisation can respond effectively to the ever-changing threat landscape.

What will you be doing?

  • Work with the Club’s managed SOC to ensure alerts and incidents are responded to effectively and any required improvements are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Support the vulnerability testing processes performed both internally and by independent third parties.
  • Complete regular audits of the processes which underpin the Club’s Information Security policies.
  • Perform security reviews across information systems and key infrastructure.
  • Support the information security incident response process of triage, investigation, response and mitigation.
  • Support the information security awareness process via e-learning initiatives, simulated phishing tests and regular communications to colleagues across the Club.
  • Provide project support, where necessary, to any information security initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Produce and maintain relevant reports and dashboards of information/cyber security metrics for management reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with teams and departments across the Club to ensure awareness and visibility of the information security function is maintained.
