Job description

Job Title: Senior Information Security Analyst

The Senior Information Security Analyst will be responsible for ensuring information security and managing risks related to the use, processing, storage, and transmission of information, as well as the systems and processes used for these purposes. They will handle the collection, processing, preservation, analysis, and presentation of evidence in support of information security activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and improve information security solutions for organizational systems and products, ensuring compliance with all applicable security policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks.
2. Establish, implement, and maintain information assurance programs, requirements, and standards based on analysis of user needs, policies, regulations, and resources.
3. Author and update security documentation, including standards, policies, system security plans, contingency plans, standard operating procedures, and configuration management plans.
4. Analyze technical problems related to information assurance and provide engineering and technical support for their resolution.
5. Identify, report, and resolve security violations; proactively seek indicators of compromise.
6. Facilitate, analyze, and store artifacts to respond to audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree, relevant professional certification, or equivalent work experience.
2. Self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and personal integrity.
3. Creative, with high ethical standards and values.
4. Excellent investigative, problem-solving skills, and curiosity.
5. Technical experience with system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques for identity, data, and access controls.

7. Ability to assess risks and communicate effectively with risk owners to balance risk mitigation and business performance.
8. Experience with industry best practices in digital evidence acquisition, handling, and documentation.
