Job Description

We have an incredible opportunity for an Information Security Analyst to join us in Cardiff, Hove, or Solihull.

You'll play a key role in providing the technology expertise required to implement and support the information and cyber security strategy, policy, and standards in our Retail division. Working closely with risk, audit, and technology teams, you'll help reduce and mitigate Information Security risks according to an agreed risk appetite.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Information Security Manager and stakeholders in securing the UK Protection business's information assets.
• Providing technical security consultancy to internal projects and system enhancements, ensuring IT security best practices and compliance.
• Working on security architecture alongside IT Operations, promoting secure-by-design solutions.
• Assisting with penetration tests, firewall rules, audits, and risk assessments.
• Maintaining and updating security controls in line with risk appetite and governance.
• Managing security tooling effectiveness across the estate.
• Supporting governance, reporting, and escalation processes.
• Reviewing system or process changes impacting customer journeys for compliance and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates with:

• Knowledge of industry best practices in information & cyber security and IT change.
• Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders at various levels.
• Previous experience as a Security Analyst is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as (ISC)2, ISACA, GIAC, or CompTIA are a plus.
