About the Role

The Information Management capability inside our Defence & Asset Solutions Digital Group are seeking experienced Information Managers to help deliver projects inside the Nuclear, Defence, and Clean Energy sectors. As an Information Manager, you will be accountable for managing the development and application of Information Management strategies & processes that enable effective deployment of people, process & technology upon projects and bids, to help our capabilities and clients deliver their objectives. In project delivery you will be responsible for the daily management, integrity and security of information created and delivered, and as a member of the Information Management capability you will be expected to bring your industry knowledge and expertise to facilitate leadership in shaping the future of our developing capability. To be successful in this role we require candidates to be driven, engaging and solution focused with hands on ISO19650 delivery experience and a strong understanding of information management success drivers, industry direction and emerging technologies, in addition to the following:

  • Ambitious & proactive attitude with willingness to continue personal development and challenge accepted positions.
  • Developed leadership skills with effective communication approach and experience developing, deploying and managing teams of broader information management capabilities upon projects.
  • Strong experience in interpreting requirements and applying the latest Information Management techniques and practices in alignment with government policies and industry standards such as the ISO19650 suite.
  • Ability to develop, establish, manage, and control an effective Common Data Environment and project delivery ecosystem, with good knowledge of interconnecting Electronic Data Management Systems such as ProjectWise, ACC or Asite.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of authoring tools utilised by the Construction industry to manage client’s, supplier’s, and project’s graphical and non-graphical data in different industries.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the roles, relationships and responsibilities required of Information Management within Project delivery.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the Construction, or Engineering industry with a degree, HND/ HNC or professional certification in a related subject and thorough understanding of project information management principles.

Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance. The security clearance process may require non-British nationals or dual nationals (i.e. those with British and another nationality) to be subject to additional evaluation, depending on nationalities held and the nature of the work to be carried out.
