The scheme also promises numerous community and environmental benefits, including biodiversity net gain, employment and training opportunities, and integrated transport improvements.
Requirements:
- Implement the STRABAG UK IM Framework on assigned projects under the functional direction of the Head of Information Management, coordinating delivery with project leadership.
- Translate the IM Policy, strategic direction, minimum standards, functional guidelines and controlled templates into project arrangements proportionate to scope, complexity and contractual requirements. Obtain approval for departures from mandatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain the Information Management Plan (IMP) and supporting CDE, information control, security, mobilisation and handover procedures.
- Coordinate and facilitate the development and maintenance of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), working with the BIM team, which retains responsibility for its technical BIM content, and relevant delivery teams contributing within their areas of responsibility. Ensure the BEP undergoes controlled review and approval.

- Coordinate package leads and task teams in producing and maintaining Task Information Delivery Plans (TIDPs); consolidate the Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP), track delivery against the programme and accelerate omissions or delays.
- Act as the project IM interface with clients and suppliers. Coordinate mobilisation, capability assessments, training and readiness checks before information production and exchange.
- Oversee assigned information control and CDE support resources, setting priorities and monitoring performance. Clarify information ownership, checking and approval responsibilities without assuming technical design accountability.
- Govern a connected common data environment (CDE), with defined authoritative sources, naming, classification, metadata, revision and status controls, review workflows and auditable sharing, publication and archiving.
- Support model-centric delivery with design, BIM, GIS, construction and asset teams, maintaining traceable links between models, structured data, documents and records throughout the information lifecycle.
- Define and verify governed interfaces between project, client and supplier systems, including data mapping, open exchange formats and reconciliation. Work with systems specialists to preserve metadata, provenance and audit trails.
- Implement security-minded information controls with IT and security leads, including classification, least-privilege access, approval and periodic review of permissions, secure exchange, offboarding and incident escalation.
- Coordinate validation and verification against information requirements, checking completeness, consistency and metadata. Ensure accountable owners undertake technical reviews and acceptance before authorised exchange or use.
- Maintain information risks, issues and corrective actions; conduct project compliance checks and support central IM assurance, maturity assessments and independent audits with traceable evidence and action closeout.
- Report delivery performance, information quality, outstanding information gaps, compliance and digital adoption to project leadership and the Head of Information Management using consistent measures and validated data.
- Work with reporting and systems teams to enable reliable analytics and controlled automation, reducing duplicate entry and supporting information reuse. Define requirements and verify outputs before operational adoption.
- Plan progressive asset information delivery and handover from mobilisation, coordinating evidence, validation and acceptance with delivery teams and the client, including retention, archiving and secure disposal requirements.
- Share lessons across the IM function and contribute improvements to central standards, guidance and project implementation.
- Opportunity to work and have a lasting impact on landmark UK projects.
