About the Role…

Due to growing business needs, we have created a new Information Manager role for the Space Digital UK part of Airbus. As an Information Manager, you will join a small, dynamic team to create, manage and support the Information Management System (IMS).

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM

  • Identify and align the multiple key stakeholders involved in the storing, protecting and sharing of critical information.
  • Working with the programme unit teams and supported by a multitude of experts in Security, Export Control, Data Protection, Digital Transformation etc, you will be the point of liaison with the Airbus Digital IM Team to ensure the development, implementation and operation of all required business tools and systems – especially Microsoft 360 and Google Workspace (formerly G Suite)
  • Conduct audits of information repositories to ensure that information is organised compliantly, effectively and stored securely. Identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with the information users and data owners to ensure corrective actions are defined and implemented.
  • Develop procedures and guidelines to manage and share information effectively between all required individuals, teams and stakeholders.
  • Address gaps where technology could help to store, manage, navigate and search for information more effectively.
  • Support the Business Operations functions in terms of Risk, Compliance, Performance, Process, Forward Load Planning, Knowledge, Relationships and Communication.
  • Support the Early Careers Business Operations Graduates and Interns in developing their future careers in Airbus

ABOUT YOU

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (formerly G Suite).
  • An effective communicator, passionate about enhancing collaboration between teams and championing a clear and cohesive understanding of data and business requirements.
  • Interested in delving into how the current and future usage of AI impacts data accessibility across different parts of Airbus.
  • Has supported large corporate companies in digital transformation to streamline information flows and protect company data.
  • Team-oriented with a passion for continuous development and growth.
