Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an Information Manager to be engaged on a permanent basis in Bristol.

The Role:

We are seeking a mid-level Information Manager with industrial experience to join our team.

This role combines elements of roles such as Digital / BIM Lead, BIM Manager, CAD Manager, Document Control Lead, and Systems Administrator, typically with guidance or support on small to medium-scale projects.

Your Purpose:

Responsibilities:

• Provide direction to engineering delivery projects as the Information Manager, coordinating workstreams following ISO 19650 standards and internal procedures.
• Document strategies and approaches for BIM and information management tailored to project needs, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
• Ensure project teams are trained and aware of information management standards and procedures.
• Create and maintain reports on BIM and Information Management implementation at the project level.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of business processes related to information management, including ISO 19650 standards.
• Deliver work to high standards, build trust with teams, plan effectively, report reliably, and uphold high standards in workstreams.
• Develop your professional network, promote BIM and IM best practices, and create educational materials to raise awareness.
• Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.
• Foster a culture of feedback and continuous development within your team.

Experience:

• Several years of experience, preferably in heavy industries.

• Background or education in STEM, library sciences, computer sciences, or related fields.
