An opportunity has arisen to join the Information Governance Team at Staffordshire County Council during an exciting time of developments in information management. With the emergence of AI technology and its implications on privacy, the introduction of the new Data (Use and Access) Act, and its impact on UK-GDPR and Local Government Reform, the team will be instrumental in supporting the Council through these changes. We are seeking a motivated individual with experience in information governance and records management to play an integral role in implementing our Information Management Strategy and participating in our migration to M365. Responsibilities include:
This diverse role involves supporting all service areas within the organization by providing guidance, support, and advice on information management. The ideal candidate will have a Law degree and/or an Information Management qualification (such as data protection, cybersecurity, or records management).
The candidate should be organized, enthusiastic, confident in providing expert advice and policy development, and able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
