We are seeking an Information Governance Manager and Data Protection Officer (DPO) to enhance our Data Privacy Framework and support compliance with UK GDPR. You will design, build, and implement new ways of working to ensure compliance and meet organizational needs.
As DPO, you will monitor compliance, develop relationships across the organization, and serve as the main contact for the Information Commissioner and data subjects.
Ideal candidates will have 7+ years’ experience in data privacy, possibly as a qualified lawyer, with relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPT, CIPM). A strong understanding of legal frameworks (DPA 2018, GDPR) and practical support experience are essential. Excellent interpersonal skills and strategic thinking are required.
Applicants should have relevant experience in risk management, legal, or IT fields, and be proficient in English. This is a mid-senior level contract role based in London, England.
