Job summary

Defence Materials Centre of Excellence (DMEx) in Manchester is recruiting an Information Officer to support information governance, data assurance, security compliance and governance reporting within a fast-paced national research centre. You will work with Operations Manager, Information Governance specialists and external partners to embed controls and assurance across DMEx activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting information governance, security compliance or data assurance.
• Familiarity with governance reporting, records management or audit support.
• Understanding of data quality and secure information handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance and assurance records and support audits.
• Coordinate governance reporting and monitor access controls.
• Support information governance activities and data quality across systems.
• Develop processes, guidance and dashboards for reporting and assurance.
• Promote a culture of secure information management within DMEx.
