We have a permanent, full-time development position available with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £30,997 per year, increasing to £39,050 per annum, once key competencies within the role are met.
Reporting to the Data Protection and Information Governance Business Partner, this role is responsible for providing effective and practical operational support across the organisation to ensure that personal information is handled appropriately, securely and in accordance with data protection legislation, organisational policies, and agreed procedures.
This is a developmental role designed for an individual looking to start a career in data protection and governance, with a view to becoming a Data Protection Officer following the completion of relevant qualifications and demonstratable knowledge and experience with increased responsibility over time.
To be successful in the role of Information Governance Assistant you will be educated to a minimum Level 3 in, or equivalent experience. There is also have an expectation for you to successfully attain an agreed recognised Data Protection Practitioner Certificate Qualification.
