An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Information Governance Admin Assistant to join the Information Governance Team at Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust (TRFT).
We are seeking a proactive, passionate, collaborative and detail-oriented individual, to provide administrative support to our dedicated and hardworking Information Governance Team.
Working in this small but well-respected team, you will quickly learn about how important Information Governance is, when it comes to service user confidentiality and safety.
The core duties of the post holder are to provide administrative support to the wider Information Governance team in relation to the IG work programme and assist with ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Data Security and Protection Toolkit and other national standards, guidance and legislation.
You will assist in the processing of Freedom of Information requests by following a fully documented system, processing all new requests and maintaining the FOI Tracker system, as well as maintaining several email inboxes.
The role will also touch on administrative duties relating to Caldicott and the maintenance of the Caldicott inbox.
