Job summary

Thales UK is recruiting for an Information Assurance/Technical Security Specialist to provide security guidance across the through-life management of IS/IT systems, including cloud deployments and governance. You will serve as the central security PoC, drive risk reviews, and ensure compliance with government and customer requirements.

The role requires experience in regulated environments, with SC clearance being advantageous; potential for deployment across multiple UK sites including Crawley

Responsibilities

• Provide technical security guidance and assurance across through-life IS/IT environments.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to embed data protection and security requirements in projects.
• Conduct security reviews of changes to platforms, assessing risks and mitigations.
• Guide secure deployment of cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure) in line with policy.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and governance aligned with statutory and customer requirements.
