Are you passionate about supporting families and enhancing community connections? As an Information Assistant, in the Families Information Service you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving Your Notts Directory, Nottinghamshire's online community directory and Virtual Family Hub. This is an exciting opportunity to create engaging content and deliver impactful digital campaigns that promote services for families.

In this role, you will:
  • Maintain and Enhance: Keep theYour Notts Directoryup-to-date and user-friendly.
  • Create Content: Develop engaging materials for websites, social media, newsletters and digital toolkits.
  • Deliver Campaigns: Implement digital campaigns that effectively promote services and support for families.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with families, young people and professionals to create relevant content.
  • Promote Services: Engage with the community through events and activities to raise awareness of available services.
  • Ensure Accessibility: Make sure all content is inclusive, accessible and user-focused.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • Experience: A background in digital marketing, content creation and social media management.
  • Technical Skills: Confidence using digital platforms, content management systems and creative tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of website accessibility standards.
  • Education: Good general education, ideally to NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
