A leading educational institution in Nottingham seeks an Information Assistant to provide support to library customers. The role involves assisting with enquiries and ensuring a positive user experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be confident in using IT systems. Information Assistant
Salary: £25,470 - £26,583 per annum (pro rata)
Saturday 9-5 (36 weeks) and Sunday 2-7 (34 weeks)
Mon, Tues & Wed evening 3 hours (TBC) (36 weeks)
8 Saturdays x 4 hours during summer vacation
This role isn't just checking and sorting books. You'll be an essential support to customers of our libraries and learning resources to providing practical help and guidance. You'll be the go to person for face-face, telephone and online enquiries and assistance.
Supporting customers to get online or how to use software one minute and then identifying and referring specialist enquiries the next. No two days will be the same as you'll work, on a rota basis, completing a variety of tasks.
You'll bring you excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of people. If you've got confidence in using IT systems and experience of supporting customers in a busy service environment, then we'd love to hear from you.
