In this role, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely submission of key national datasets, with a focus on ensuring data quality throughout the process. You'll work closely with clinical and operational teams to extract, validate, and analyse data that supports decision-making across the Trust.

You'll use SQL and Python to develop and maintain ETL pipelines, supporting the Trust's data warehouse and automating routine processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on data work and wants to make a real impact on healthcare delivery.

We are committed to supporting your career growth with opportunities for continuous professional development (CPD). Whether it's enhancing your technical skills or broadening your knowledge in business intelligence, you'll be encouraged to reach your full potential in a collaborative and supportive environment. The successful applicant would be working towards a Level 4 Data Analyst qualification.

As an Information Analyst within the Trust's Data & Analytics Department, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality data solutions that inform clinical and operational decision-making. Reporting to the Enterprise Data Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely submission of key datasets (e.g., CDS) and for maintaining the integrity of the underlying data.

In this role, you will:

  1. Extract, validate, and analyse complex datasets from acute and community systems.
  2. Develop and maintain automated reporting processes and ETL pipelines using SQL and Python.
  3. Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust to improve data quality and ensure compliance with national reporting requirements.
  4. Respond to ad hoc information requests from managers, clinicians, and external stakeholders.
  5. Support the ongoing development of the Trust's data warehouse and related clinical information systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with large, sensitive datasets and contribute to the Trust's growing data capability. Your work will support better, faster decisions and ultimately help improve the quality of care for patients.
