An opportunity has arisen for an information analyst to join our Analytical Services team at HDFT.
Role Overview
The post holder will be part of a small team of information professionals, delivering an information service supporting the Trust's requirements, including routine internal and external reporting (such as central returns to NHS England and contract reports to commissioners) and managing an ad hoc information service.
Candidate Requirements
- Highly numerate with experience in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting complex data.
- Ability to engage with clinicians and managers to design and develop information reports that support service improvements and performance.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of SQL and business intelligence tools, including Microsoft Power BI, is advantageous.
- Understanding of NHS data and experience extracting data from patient systems for analysis and reporting is beneficial.
Role Details
This is a hybrid role, involving both home and on-site work at Harrogate Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, production, and implementation of comprehensive data and information reporting systems for organizational-wide reporting.
- Promote good information collection and analysis practices across the organization to inform effective decision-making.
- Support the development of core information processes and services for the Trust's Corporate and Clinical Directorates.
