An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Information Analyst to join the National Unscheduled Care (UC) Data Team, part of the Centre for Sustainable Delivery (CfSD) at NHS Golden Jubilee. The National UC Programme facilitates whole system development and delivery of improvement programmes which reflect best practice and support the delivery of the Right Care in the Right Place. • Front Door/Emergency Pathways
  • Optimising Patient Flow

The UC Data Team has recently expanded its remit to include support to the Planned Care programme. This role will operate across both programmes of work, UC and Planned Care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert information analysis as part of a small information team servicing the broad demands of the programmes of work.
  • Specialise in electronic data handling, including process automation, data mining, electronic data manipulation and dashboard development.
  • Utilise knowledge of R, Power BI, VBA or similar to support handling and automation of large and complex datasets.
  • Design and build user-facing information delivery platforms such as dashboards and interactive portals (advantageous).
Qualifications and experience
  • Educated to degree level or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages.
  • Demonstrable experience of working in a programme/project environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of Improvement methodologies and data for improvement would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written) and ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining high quality.
  • Well organised and prepared to work autonomously to deliver projects, escalating issues to the Head of Data & Analytics or National Improvement Advisor for Data & Analytics when needed.
