Job summary

Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and Isle of Wight NHS Trust seek an experienced IPC Matron to provide senior leadership across both organisations. The role focuses on patient safety, quality improvement, and infection prevention across a group model with regular cross-site involvement.

You will work closely with the Deputy DIPC, IPC Doctors, and wider clinical teams to champion best practice, education, and engagement with staff, patients and visitors.

Qualifications

• Senior nursing experience in IPC leadership is essential.
• Experience leading across multi-site NHS organisations is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical governance and audit background.

Working as a partnership, both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust have a shared vision for excellence in care for our patients and communities; with a set of strategic aims underpinning how we will achieve this.
