A Vacancy at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.

Full driving licence essential to role and we recommend an informal visit to meet the team.

The Community Infection Prevention and Control Team is looking for a team player to join on a secondment / fixed-term basis to support care homes, extra care, domiciliary care, supported living, and non-CQC registered adult social care services such as day centres.

If you have experience working within the community as an IPC link professional, this is an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills within an established team.

Shortlisted applicants will undertake a literacy and numeracy assessment as part of the interview process; successful candidates will be interviewed on the same day.

The role focuses on improving infection prevention and control standards across healthcare providers in Derbyshire by assessing their training needs through a questionnaire.

This role will deliver bespoke best practice and training sessions at the healthcare provider's location.

The project aims to increase providers' IPC knowledge, with support packages tailored to improve their skills, followed by re-assessment to measure progress.
