The NHS is looking for an Infection Prevention and Control Healthcare Support Worker to join their Community Infection Prevention and Control Team. This role is to support care homes and other adult social care services, with a focus on improving IPC standards and providing training.

The Community Infection Prevention and Control Team are looking for a team player to join them on a secondment / fixed term basis to support care homes, extra care, domiciliary care, supported living and non-CQC registered adult social care services such as day centres.
If you have experience working within the community as an IPC link professional this would be perfect opportunity to enhance your knowledge and skills within an established team.
Full driving licence essential to role and we would recommend an informal visit to meet the team.
Shortlisted applicants will undertake a literacy and numeracy assessmentas part of the interview process, if you are successful your interview will be held on the same day.
The role will focus on improving infection prevention and control standards by undertaking scoping phase then and sharing best practice and training. The project aim is to gain a knowledge around IPC for different settings and providing bespoke support packages to improve IPC knowledge.
