The Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Specialty Doctor in Infection Medicine to join the newly established Department of Infection Medicine at Royal Berkshire Hospital, Reading. You will work with consultants and SAS doctors to contribute to a consultant-led Clinical Infection Service delivering frontline infection expertise across the Trust.

Responsabilidades

• Provide timely specialist infection advice to primary and secondary care teams.
• Manage infection queries and ID e-referrals.
• Support daily antimicrobial stewardship infection round.
• Review blood cultures and validate laboratory reports.
• Communicate critical results and participate in ICU ward rounds.
• Contribute to infection prevention and control, clinical governance, audit, teaching and ongoing development of the Clinical Infection Service.
