Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Support Worker for the Lime Green Infant Feeding Team in Sutton-in-Ashfield. This part-time role provides evidence-based breast/chestfeeding support to mothers and birthing parents, both at home and in hospital.

The post requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, and to contribute to education, audits and admin tasks within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English (A–C) or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in Health Care or equivalent.
• Care certificate or equivalent.
• Foundation Degree Maternity Pathway or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based breast/chestfeeding support to mothers and birthing parents.
• Deliver infant feeding education in person and in class settings.
• Assist with staff training, audits and administration tasks.
• Support daily workload and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.
