Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Clinical Support Worker for the Lime Green Infant Feeding Team, mainly based in Mansfield. The role involves providing culturally safe breast and chestfeeding support before and after birth, in homes and in hospital, with opportunities to educate in classes and participate in audits.

Qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in health care and Care Certificate; GCSE English/Maths at grade C or equivalent.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade C or level 4 or Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
• NVQ Level 3 in health care, or equivalent experience.
• Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualised, culturally safe breast and chestfeeding support to women and birthing parents, antenatally and postnatally.
• Deliver support in families' homes and in hospital.
• Provide infant feeding education face to face and in class settings.
• Support staff training.
• Support audits.
• Carry out administration tasks and manage daily workload, alone or in a team.
