An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Infant Feeding Team in Middlesbrough 0-19 Services as an Infant Feeding Coordinator.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Health Nurse to provide enhanced services within the Infant Feeding Team, working alongside our 0-19 Children’s Universal Service. The post holder will collaborate with partnership agencies to develop an Infant Feeding strategy and will be responsible for improving breastfeeding initiation and duration rates within the Middlesbrough population.
The Infant Feeding Coordinator will promote best practices through maintaining Baby Friendly Initiative standards, develop and deliver multidisciplinary education and training programs, and support women and colleagues with complex feeding issues.
Ideally, the candidate will be an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
