Our specialist Industry & Services team provides audit services to companies listed on the London Stock Exchange (FTSE 350, Small Cap, and Fledgling), AIM, and large companies/groups with a turnover of over £150m. The team also collaborates with overseas teams to audit UK-based subsidiaries of major global groups.

As a Responsible Individual (RI), you will work closely with local and national partners to develop and expand this audit team, our client offerings, and contribute to our broader strategy for sustainable growth. You will also work directly with clients to provide exceptional audit services.

What you'll do

1. Lead the client service management team in formulating audit strategy and planning.
2. Serve as a technical expert, providing advice and leadership to the audit team and clients.
3. Maintain control and stability under pressure, recognizing deadlines and urgencies.
4. Present audit opinion summaries and other reporting documents, including group reporting and audit committee papers.
5. Identify and capitalize on opportunities for new work.
6. Hold significant experience in leading external audits, managing a portfolio of clients, and leading audit teams.
7. Be ACA, ACCA, or CA qualified.
8. Be ready to apply for RI status or already be an RI, with experience managing a diverse portfolio of audit clients across large and listed sectors.
9. Possess client relationship management experience.
10. Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
11. Have a proven track record of winning new business.
