Job summary

The Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a part-time Industry Placement Adviser on a fixed-term contract running to 31 July 2027, based mainly at our Slough & Langley College campus. The role is 30 hours per week, 40 weeks a year.

We offer a pro rata salary between £19,863.83 (H19) and £21,831.72 (H22), with full-time equivalent salary range £27,284 to £29,987. The role involves connecting the construction industry with education and mentoring young people for successful on-site placements.

Qualifications

• Background in practical trades, site management or subcontracting.
• Willing to mentor young people and support career readiness.
• Must hold a full manual driving licence.

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a part time Industry Placement Adviser. This is a fixed term contract running until 31st July 2027, based mainly from our Slough & Langley College campus. The role is for 30 hours a week, working 40 weeks a year.

We offer a pro rata salary between £19,863.83 (H19) and £21,831.72 (H22), dependent on experience and qualifications. For reference, the full time equivalent salary range is £27,284 (H19) to £29,987 (H22).

In this role, you will connect the construction industry with education, helping students prepare for their careers and securing them great on site placements that meet course standards. This is the perfect job for someone with a background in practical trades, site management or subcontracting (like a site supervisor, tradesperson or team leader) or someone who wants to mentor young people and help them start their careers.

This role relies on building strong partnerships, which means you will regularly visit employers at their locations. To get the most out of the role and navigate these visits easily, the successful candidate will find it essential to have a full, manual driving licence for use of college vehicles.
