Job Description:

The Industry Activation Strategist team serves as a strategic partner to the Sales organization, delivering high-level industry insights and identifying opportunities to advance client maturity on our platform. We are responsible for driving incremental growth across key industries and verticals, while continuously enhancing our client-centric approach to help shape TikTok's next generation of sales teams.

This role reports to the Head of Client Solutions in the UK Global Business Solutions team. The Industry Activation Strategist will have deep knowledge of the vertical industry business landscape, online advertising, consumption patterns, and campaign measurement. Responsibilities include conducting industry research, developing strategic yearly roadmaps for high-value clients, addressing key client/industry challenges, and generating insights to inform strategic priorities.

The role involves anticipating client decision-making processes, exploring insights that shape the vertical, and articulating how our product suite can help clients grow their business on TikTok. The strategist will work cross-functionally with various teams including Client Solutions Managers, Brand Partnership Managers, Product Solutions & Operations, Global Business Marketing, Measurement, and Research & Insights.

Responsibilities
  • Refine approaches to deepen key client's maturity on TikTok
  • Collate vertical learnings & insights from various data sources (campaign data, platform user data, market data, case studies, product data)
  • Identify successful campaign strategies/templates to maximize business value and drive vertical consumption
  • Scale insights and strategies to elevate client pitches and promote adoption of successful campaigns
  • Educate teams on industry trends to inspire new client engagement strategies (thought leadership, product development, test & learn plans)
  • Attend high-value client meetings as a key industry insights resource
Minimum qualifications
  • Relevant vertical experience
  • Proven experience engaging C-level executives with executive presence and communication skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of simplifying complex challenges for senior stakeholders
  • Experience using advertising data to craft campaign strategies across full funnel objectives
  • Ability to collaborate internally to align on campaign strategies
  • Expertise in digital marketing
Preferred qualifications
  • Understanding of TikTok's product & measurement suite
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proactive with a growth mindset, eager to learn, humble
