Job summary

ITM Power is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer (Final Assembly) to join our Production Engineering team. You will help develop, industrialise and continuously improve high‑volume assembly processes across multiple lines, translating requirements into stable, scalable methods for production.

You’ll work with Principal Engineers, Automation Engineers, Technicians and Quality teams to ensure robust process definitions and successful ramp‑ups.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics (HND/HNC with relevant experience also considered).
• Experience in manufacturing engineering with industrialisation/NPI.
• Experience supporting introduction and ramp-up of new equipment or processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the industrialisation and ramp-up of new assembly processes and equipment into production.
• Support the introduction and commissioning of new manufacturing machines and technologies.
• Define, update, and optimise assembly methods, process flows and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Automation Engineers and suppliers during integration and commissioning (FAT/SAT).
• Identify, evaluate and implement process improvements from development or production needs.
• Support process validation to meet quality and performance requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement linked to process changes and industrialisation projects.
• Analyse production data to support ramp-up performance and stabilisation.
• Work with Quality Engineering to ensure robust process introductions.
