Industrial Water Treatment Scientist- Water Testing and Reporting

Competitive salary between £28325 and up to £36565 depending on experience plus company car and a Operations Incentive Plan bonus scheme

Our ideal candidate would live around the North East area. We will consider areas such as Newcastle and Teesside.

The Industrial Water Treatment Scientist services, recommends changes, reports and communicates water treatment performance at customer sites, working with a predefined commercial agreement.

You will be responsible for achieving defined goals and objectives as well as working safely, compliantly and efficiently at your customer sites.

What are the Essential Responsibilities?
  1. EHS & Compliance
  2. Ensure you work in a safe manner at all times
  3. Complete Legionella sampling.
  4. Engagement in QEHS systems and documentation management.
  5. Ensure a full water service plan is completed monthly, quarterly and annually.
  6. Sampling and testing of industrial waters
  7. Consulting on the chemical treatment and basic technical concepts of the systems with customers
  8. Complete and submit Consultant Service Reports (CSRs)
  9. Raise issues with Ops Leader and Commercial colleagues if necessary.
  10. Participate in review meetings with customers, contributing from an operational and technical perspective.
  11. Good organisation and ability to schedule and plan your own site visits.
What Skills are we seeking?
  1. Science or Engineering background
  2. Experience in water treatment.
  3. Availability to travel within assigned area, some overnight stops if necessary
  4. Valid driving licence.
  5. Currently eligible to work in the UK
  6. Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
