Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Ideally dual skilled.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• In-depth understanding of problem-solving methodology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence.
• Ability to coach across all levels.
• Ability to work on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimal cost, efficient, quality and sustained generation and distribution of factory utilities, including steam, refrigeration, water and effluent treatment, hygienic air handling, and compressed air
• Ensure electrical compliance and complete electrical activities in line with business objectives, product safety, quality, and plant operation requirements
• Support the transition from reactive to preventative maintenance
• Identify recurring issues through root cause analysis and create maintenance improvement plans
• Coach and develop the Technician group within the Industrial Services Team
• Support colleagues in maintaining company standards
• Provide departmental support for compliance audits
• Manage small projects and help develop future capital expenditure plans
• Conduct regular daily checks and provide reactive site support
