Job Description:

We are seeking an Industrial UPS Sales Manager to join our team. The role involves managing customer expectations, negotiating commercial terms, leading handover meetings, and engaging with clients both in person and via Teams. You will review technical proposals, advise on product fit, understand installation and maintenance requirements, support tendering processes, and contribute to market analysis and product development. The position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage customer enquiries and tenders, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  2. Negotiate commercial terms, including credit requirements.
  3. Lead handover meetings and own the commercial aspects, including margins.
  4. Participate in customer meetings and site surveys as needed.
  5. Review technical specifications and advise on suitable products.
  6. Support the tendering team with margins and pricing strategies.
  7. Maintain accurate records of enquiries, customer details, and activities in the CRM system.
  8. Prepare quotes and tenders for various services and products.
  9. Provide regular reports and market insights.
  10. Contribute to product development and pricing strategies.
  11. Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
  12. Assist in developing team members and fostering a positive culture.
Experience and Qualifications:
  1. Experience in the Standby Power Industry or related fields like switchgear is advantageous.
  2. Understanding of power electronics.
  3. Ability to produce tenders and quotations.
  4. HNC qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
