Are you a skilled Industrial Gas Engineer who enjoys hands-on work and troubleshooting on large-scale boiler and steam systems?

About the Company:

We are a leading specialist in industrial process heating, servicing some of the largest boiler systems across multiple industries. Known for quality and reliability, the company has exciting expansion plans and is investing heavily in its engineering team to support growing client demand.

Your Role:

  • Provide service, repair, and maintenance support for industrial boilers, steam systems, and associated heating equipment
  • Conduct both preventive maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely
  • Diagnose faults accurately, troubleshoot complex mechanical and gas systems, and implement solutions promptly
  • Work predominantly within a local patch, delivering fast, reliable service using a company vehicle and fuel card
  • Complete detailed service reports and documentation following company and industry standards
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies, including safe handling of gas and steam equipment
  • Develop your skills through comprehensive technical training programs, including manufacturer certifications
  • Liaise directly with clients to deliver excellent customer service and build long-term relationships

What We're Looking For:

  • 3 to 5+ years' proven experience working with industrial boiler systems, preferably covering both gas and steam technologies
  • Strong technical knowledge of thermodynamics, combustion, and industrial heating processes
  • Experience with service, maintenance, and repair of large-scale boilers or process heating equipment
  • Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule within a local geographic area
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve urgent breakdowns
  • Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused attitude
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications related to gas engineering, boiler servicing, or mechanical engineering are preferred
