OSCHA SLINGS LTD is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist for full-time work in our workshop near Edinburgh. The role focuses on high-speed, high-quality production of jacquard products, with training provided for QC and end-of-line inspection to ensure flawless finishes.

You will operate industrial sewing machines, learn inspection standards, and contribute to packaging preparation as production shifts require.

Qualifications

• Industrial Sewing Machinist: 3 years of experience required.
• Commercial target-driven experience in fast-paced manufacturing.
• Ability to learn QC inspection methods and balance speed with quality.
• Adaptability to switch between machining and inspection tasks.
• Reliable with good attendance and communication.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production targets while maintaining high quality.
• Operate industrial sewing machines and pressing equipment.
• Interpret specifications for accurate pattern matching and alignment.
• Inspect finished items for stitching accuracy and fabric quality.
• Switch between sewing, inspection, and packaging as needed.
• Follow health and safety and machinery maintenance protocols.
