Job summary

Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Derbyshire is recruiting an Industrial Services Engineering Technician to support boiler operations and plant maintenance across steam, refrigeration, effluent, and coffee grounds handling. The role reports to the Industrial Services Manager and involves both proactive and reactive tasks.

The site is a leading Nestlé facility with ongoing investments and a focus on inclusion and diversity. A strong electrical bias and automation experience are valued.

Qualifications

Advanced apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (Electrical bias) is essential.
Experience in automated manufacturing/industrial service processes.
Good knowledge of asset maintenance.
Knowledge of TPM and boiler house maintenance would be desirable.

Responsibilities

Support daily operations and maintenance at the Tutbury plant.
Focus on boiler operations and plant maintenance of steam, refrigeration, effluent, and coffee grounds handling.
Carry out daily preventative maintenance tasks.
React to breakdowns with urgency and safety; use SAP to capture work orders and sign off tasks.
Work on engineering improvement projects.
