Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Confined Space & Working at Height Instructor based at its Liverpool training centre. The role runs Monday to Friday, is predominantly centre-based, and blends practical demonstrations with classroom training to develop delegates into competent professionals.

You will leverage your industry experience to train, assess and mentor participants while pursuing further trainer and assessor qualifications.

Do you have strong practical experience in Confined Spaces and Working at Height and want to use that experience to move into a professional training role?

Are you looking to step away from site work into a predominantly centre-based, Monday-to-Friday position where you'll gain further qualifications, pass on your knowledge and build a long-term career in training?

This established private training provider specialises in delivering safety-critical and technical training to professionals from a wide range of industries. They continue to invest in their people, training facilities and future growth and offer experienced industry professionals a structured route into becoming fully qualified instructors.

In this role, you'll deliver Confined Space and Working at Height training, alongside Rooftop Access courses where appropriate. You'll combine classroom-based learning with practical demonstrations and assessments, using your real-world experience to ensure delegates can work safely and competently. The role is predominantly based at the company's Liverpool training centre, with only occasional travel required.

The ideal candidate will have both Confined Space and Working at Height experience and relevant industry qualifications. You could come from a utilities, gas, power, telecoms, fire & rescue, emergency services, engineering or similar safety-critical background. Previous training experience is advantageous but not essential. If you're an experienced industry professional who wants to move into training, the company can support you in gaining the relevant teaching and assessor qualifications.

The Person:

• Must have Confined Space experience
• Must have Working at Height experience
• Relevant Confined Space and Working at Height qualifications
• Could come from utilities, gas, power, telecoms, fire & rescue, engineering or a similar industry
• Rooftop Access experience advantageous
• Previous instructor/training experience advantageous but not essential
• Teaching qualification advantageous but not essential
• Assessor qualification advantageous but not essential
• Comfortable demonstrating practical activities and working with groups
• Looking to move from industry into a long-term training career
