We’re looking for a dedicated safety professional to lead on-site health, safety, and environmental practices at one of the UK’s most important energy facilities. This is a full-time, permanent role offering the opportunity to make a real impact within a high-profile environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee industrial safety and environmental systems on site
  • Lead daily meetings with EDF, our end client
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure teams are adhering to safety standards
  • Maintain and enforce the highest safety and compliance levels
  • Promote a strong SHEQ culture and drive quality assurance
  • Build and manage stakeholder relationships effectively
  • Provide line management to the Subcontractor Manager

About You

You’re an organised, safety-focused professional with proven experience in high-risk or COMAH-regulated environments. You’re confident in driving standards, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring full compliance.

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (Level 6)
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor training
  • Experience in high-safety risk environments or COMAH sites
  • Strong knowledge of H&S management systems and compliance
  • Clear communicator across all levels
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of technical or facilities management disciplines
