The Opportunity

As a Industrial Safety Engineer, you will be part of a dedicated safety and compliance team, providing expert health and safety advice across a complex operational environment.

This role plays a vital part in maintaining high safety standards during major programme delivery across construction, commissioning and operational phases.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and provide guidance on non-compliances
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to support and enhance safety arrangements
  • Promote a positive safety culture across internal teams and contractors
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across project and contractor organisations
  • Produce health and safety performance reports, identify trends, and recommend actions
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and other assurance activities
  • Review risk assessments and method statements and provide technical advice
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a safety-related role
  • Good understanding of occupational health and safety requirements
  • Experience working within large-scale or complex project environments
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders
  • Capable of producing accurate reports and assurance documentation
  • Strong focus on risk identification and mitigation
