What you will do
Johnson Controls Industrial Refrigeration (IREF) division delivers project solutions, maintenance & service solutions supporting our customers' manufacturing, cold storage, and R&D testing requirements. We are OEM for SABROE, Frick Compressors & York products, with trained engineers nationwide providing project solutions along with planned, preventative, and reactive works to target markets including meat, poultry, food manufacturing, beverage, cold storage, general manufacturing, leisure, pharmaceutical, and automotive.
As a Commissioning Engineer experienced in start-up and commissioning of Industrial Refrigeration systems, you will ensure systems meet defined parameters in accordance with regulations, standards & procedures. You will work closely with the project manager to ensure commissioning aligns with plans and budgets, covering plant & equipment, pipework, refrigeration charges, and controls.

You will serve as the primary contact for site technical service and commissioning activities, supporting the design team with final design, scope, and specifications. You should understand the design, scope of works, and installation requirements for Industrial Refrigeration projects.
You will keep customers informed, attend onsite reviews, and guide suppliers & contractors. You will support project managers based on design & installation needs. Projects will be UK-wide, with travel expected.
