Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer to cover various customer locations across the Midlands and East of the country. The role involves proactive maintenance and service on ammonia/CO2/HFC systems within factories, RDCs and warehouses.

You will perform service and reactive work, participate in on-call standby, and ensure compliance with industry standards and policies. Relevant qualifications and experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of the Industrial Refrigeration engineering services sector.
• Certifications: 2079 refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia.
• Completed a recognised training course / apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
• Base knowledge of maintenance & service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
• Experience with large central plant technical diagnosis and fault finding.

Responsibilities

• Proactively deliver maintenance and service visits to client sites, including food factories, RDCs and warehouses.
• Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover during normal hours; participate in standby rota for out-of-hours work.
• Ensure engineering tasks are supported with commercial awareness and system compliance.
• Maintain quality of each engineering task in line with contract responsibilities.
• Adhere to industry best practices and legislative guidelines.
