Tailored Technical Solutions Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration / Process Cooling Engineer for a hands-on, field-based role across the food and beverage sector.

You will service large-scale refrigeration and process cooling systems within manufacturing plants, distribution centres and heavy commercial environments, travelling across the West London, M25 and South East regions to support on-site clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in refrigeration within food & beverage environments.
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification.
• F-Gas certification required.
• Experience with ammonia systems highly desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installation, service, maintenance and fault-finding on industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems.
• Work with ammonia, CO2, and HFC/HFO systems; troubleshooting on-site.
• Diagnose and repair faults on refrigeration and chillers; support PPM programmes.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
• Liaise with clients on-site to provide technical support and advice.

Industrial Refrigeration / Process Cooling Engineer

Food & Beverage Sector - Field-Based Role

Seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer / Process Cooling Engineer to join a growing service division across the food and beverage industry working across the north focusing on contracts across a regional area of West London, M25 and the South East, Sussex, Kent etc.

This is a hands-on, field-based role working on large-scale refrigeration and cooling systems within manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and heavy commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, service, maintenance, and fault-finding on industrial refrigeration and process cooling systems
• Working with ammonia, CO₂, and HFC/HFO systems (experience preferred)
• Diagnosing and repairing faults on refrigeration and chillers
• Supporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards
• Liaising with clients on-site to provide technical support and advice

Requirements:

• Experience in either industrial refrigeration or heavy commercial refrigeration or process cooling systems within food & beverage environments
• Relevant refrigeration qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)
• F-Gas certification
• Experience with ammonia systems highly desirable
• Full UK driving licence
