Job description
Overview

Industrial Refrigeration Engineer. Our client is looking to recruit Industrial Refrigeration Engineers to join their dynamic team, based in the North West and Midlands, as well as around the M62 corridor. The role involves servicing, maintenance, and repair of industrial systems operating with Ammonia, CO?, Hydrocarbons, and HFC refrigerants. Location: Head office based in Manchester.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of industrial refrigeration systems
  • Diagnosing faults and performing repairs on refrigeration equipment
  • Undertaking emergency breakdown callouts and providing effective solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with F-Gas, health and safety, and environmental regulations
  • Completing service reports and maintaining accurate job records
  • Providing support and advice to clients when required
  • Working as part of a team as well as independently across multiple customer sites
Requirements
  • City & Guilds #removed# (F-Gas & ODS) or CITB equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2078-2 (Ammonia) or CITB equivalent
  • City & Guilds #removed# (Hydrocarbons) would be an advantage
  • Participation in the out-of-hours callout rota (approximately one week in every 12)
  • Willingness to work away from home occasionally
