Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer (North) to cover various customer locations throughout the Midlands and East parts of the country, including East Midlands, South Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire.

Job Purpose:

To provide maintenance and service to industrial refrigeration systems across various sites, ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses on equipment such as Recip, Scroll, Screw compressors, including Ammonia, Co2, & HFC/HFO installations.
• Carry out reactive breakdown cover during normal hours and support out-of-hours works via standby rota.
• Support internal and client functions to meet customer and business objectives.
• Ensure all engineering tasks are supported with appropriate commercial awareness and system compliance.
• Maintain quality standards in all engineering tasks and adhere to industry best practices and legislative guidelines.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Proven knowledge of the industrial refrigeration sector and customer expectations.
• Relevant technical certifications, including 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia.
• Completed recognized training or apprenticeship in Industrial Refrigeration.
• Good knowledge of maintenance and service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
• Experience diagnosing faults on large central plant systems and refrigeration compressors (e.g., Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom).
