Job description

Industrial Refrigeration Engineer required for our client, a leading Refrigeration company based in Manchester, specializing in the design, installation, and service/maintenance of a wide range of Industrial Refrigeration systems. Due to expansion, our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Service Engineer to join their team and work on contracts including McCains, Bernard Matthews, and Muller.

The role involves completing routine servicing and planned/reactive maintenance on various Industrial Refrigeration units such as ammonia systems.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in service and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems.

• 5-10 years' experience in servicing and maintaining Industrial Refrigeration systems.
• City & Guilds Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Ammonia Handling (2078)
• Experience in industrial settings, including Food Manufacturing
• Full UK Driving Licence

Salary & Benefits

• £40-52k per annum, depending on experience
• 40-hour week
• Door-to-door travel pay at 1.5x or 2x, depending on travel time
• 33 days holiday including bank holidays
• Overtime rate at 1.5x and 2x
• 1-8 call-out rota, with a £210 weekly retainer, £60-70 when called out, overtime at 1.5x or 2x, plus door-to-door travel pay
• Company van (Ford Transit) with optional personal use
