Leonardo UK Ltd in the United Kingdom is offering an industrial placement as a Software Engineer. You will gain hands‑on experience on real‑world projects from day one, with a structured path under an experienced software engineer across the development lifecycle.

The role splits time between existing customer‑facing work and collaboration with other engineers across software, systems, electronics, firmware and hardware teams, with some onsite days and possible remote work.

Qualificações

• Currently studying a relevant degree: Software Engineering or Computer Science.
• Understanding of software engineering principles with knowledge of programming in one or more languages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to contribute.
• Enthusiasm and passion for software development.
• Able to demonstrate and apply system‑level thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Gaining experience, applying your knowledge of software engineering as part of an Integrated Project Team.
• Developing practical skills in design techniques for land, sea or aerospace applications.
• Growing your understanding of the business as well as the software engineering lifecycle.
