Role Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified MEP Engineer to join our award-winning MEP team through our Industrial Placement Scheme. You will gain exposure to complex projects, supported by Chartered Engineers. We seek students from Mechanical or Electrical Engineering backgrounds to work on sustainable projects that benefit our community and environment.

Our team specializes in building services, energy, and sustainability, taking an early involvement approach to design, collaborating closely with clients and design teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Using Revit and 3D BIM modelling software for design production
• Design coordination with other disciplines
• Developing energy models and compliance calculations (Part L / IES)
• Preparing Energy Strategy Reports and Sustainability Statements for planning applications
• Participating in design team and client meetings
• Attending site visits

Candidate Requirements

• Partway through a relevant degree (BEng or BSc Hons)
• Driven, hardworking, and eager to learn
• Strong IT skills, problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
