Job Title: Industrial Painter - Bridges


Location: South Queensferry, Edinburgh

Contract Type: Full-Time/Permanent


Salary: £34,000 to £36,250 depending on experience

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter/Blaster - Bridges to join our team. This craft-based role involves carrying out blasting and painting tasks to sector scheme standards, performing routine cyclic maintenance, and supporting the access installation/removal team for bespoke access systems.

This is a hands-on, trade-based position best suited for time-served or appropriately qualified individuals with experience in industrial painting within the infrastructure or bridge maintenance sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform blasting and painting tasks in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Support the team in the installation and removal of bespoke access systems.
  • Carry out cyclic maintenance tasks as part of scheduled routines.
  • Participate as a member of the Rescue Team.
  • Operate bridge access systems (gantries).
  • Assist other trades when required.
  • Comply with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and site rules.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Valid ICATS card - Applicator module.
  • Valid ICATS card - Blasting/Spraying modules.
  • Ability to work at height and in confined spaces.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Full UK driving licence.
