Catfoss Recruitment Ltd is currently partnering with a leading global company that supplies specialist services to the energy and process industries. They are recruiting four Industrial Operatives for their expanding field team on a permanent basis.

About the company

Our client is an international provider of industrial cleaning solutions within the Energy and Process Industry. They focus on rapid response and advice to ensure plant operations remain optimal, maintaining safety and efficiency.

Industrial Operative - The Role

We are seeking four Industrial Operatives to join our field-based teams. Using patented technology, you will safely remove slag and deposits from equipment such as superheaters, economisers, heat exchangers, and furnaces, which is crucial for plant safety and efficiency.

This physically demanding role involves working in hazardous environments, visiting large industrial plants across the UK, Ireland, and occasionally Europe, performing services including Linear and Offline Cleaning.

The team operates 24/7, requiring flexibility, resilience, and willingness to work away from home 5-6 days a week, typically from 8 am to 6 pm. All necessary training and support will be provided.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and flexible attitude towards work and travel
• Experience in heavy industry or engineering environments
• Commitment, enthusiasm, and flexibility, including weekend work
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
• Capability to lift heavy equipment and navigate industrial sites
• Full UK driving license (preferably clean)
• Health & Safety certification (CSCS or Safety Passport)

Residence in commutable distance to Sheffield, Warrington, or Portsmouth is required.

Compensation and Benefits

Potential earnings between £40K - £60K per annum, including:
